Maestro Class
Small Sword versus Rapier
INSTRUCTOR: Maestro de Armas Jeannette Acosta-Martínez

ROOM: Salon B
DESCRIPTION:

This class will cover the unique problems that arise when two very different weapons face each other.

We will cover what is the appropriate measure and how time is manipulated by each respective system in order to facilitate the attack and the counter.

We will cover the most efficient techniques to use against each weapon.

Time permitting we will also cover auxiliary weapons such as the dagger and cloak.

Participants in this class should come prepared with full kit, including masks, gorgets, groin protectors, breast protectors (for women), fencing jackets, padded plastrons or vests, gloves for both hands, rapiers and/or small swords, daggers and cloaks.
