Longsword Concepts:
Controlling the Center Line
INSTRUCTOR: Steaphen Fick

ROOM: TBA
DESCRIPTION:

The positioning of your hips dictates the center line. Your hips also control your shoulders and your shoulders control your sword.

If you control the center line you can strike your adversary while putting him in a position that restricts his ability to strike you and makes his defence more difficult.

This class will focus on understanding where the adversary's attack will come from and the distance he has available without changing his tempo.

Required equipment:
·        Aluminum Steel or Wooden Longsword
·        mask.

This class will have the students practicing and controlling the center line of their fight.
