Developing Rapier & Dagger Skills
INSTRUCTOR: Guy Windsor

ROOM: TBA
DESCRIPTION:

"Developing rapier and dagger skills" this class looks at basic skill development for using the dagger as a defensive accompaniment to the sword. Too often the dagger is more hindrance than help to the aspiring rapier fencer; this class will give the students the means to make the dagger really useful. We will start with some simple drills to establish proper technique, and move on to plays from the treatise. If that goes well, then reactivity drills and tactical drills follow. Students will need a rapier, a dagger and a mask.
