DESCRIPTION:
The second play for the two handed sword of Field Marshall Don Diogo de Figueiredo, 1651 Master in the Science of Arms to the Crown Prince of Portugal.
 
This short manuscript covers the use of the two handed sword, Montante, in tactical situations. The text consists of 16 plays of the sword with a simple and complex version for each. This class will work on the core movements and correct posture for use of the two handed sword and the cutting actions of the sword, in the context of the second play.
