Advanced German Longsword

DESCRIPTION:   While many classes at events focus on the basic guards and strokes of Liechtenauer's art of longsword combat, this class will explore more advanced techniques, using the principles gleaned from those basics. Topics will include fighting from the guards Nebenhut (Side Guard), Schranckhut (Barrier Guard), and Langenort (Longpoint); wrestling at the sword; feinting; and principles of timing.
