Italian Rapier Takes All Comers
INSTRUCTORS: M. Jeannette Acosta-Martínez

ROOM: TBA
DESCRIPTION:

This class will look at applying the fundamentals of Italian Rapier to fencers of differing heights and weapons of different lengths.  The students will study how measure affects the choices one needs to make to be safe on the offence as well as the defense. We will also examine how the length of the weapon affects how we need to manipulate measure to be effective.  The emphasis will be in understanding the technical and tactical considerations.

Students must come prepared with jackets, masks, groin protectors for men, breast protection for women, gloves for both hands, rapiers and or small swords.
