DESCRIPTION:

La Verdadera Destreza: The Art, Science & Philosophy of Spanish Swordsmanship.

In this class Maestro Acosta- Martinez will cover the practical application of angular attack and defense as used within the Spanish circle with single rapier and rapier & dagger. The students will learn to implement the geometric concepts and reasoning in generalship and strategy through progressive step by step instruction using the footwork, movimientos and blade manipulation.

The class will consist of full contact drills; therefore proper safety equipment is required. Students must bring their own rapiers and daggers. They must have gloves for both hands, masks, jackets, breast protectors for women, and rigid groin cups for men.
