Defeating the opponent: Applying Combat Theory

DESCRIPTION:
This class will focus on the anatomy of the attack and the application and control of the basic aspects of all combat:
Time
Distance
Proportion

It will focus on application of techniques that allow you to break down your opponent's attack by control these aspects within your opponent's fight. It will begin in unarmed, move to knife, then to rapier and finally end with longsword. The principles are universal and understanding how they work is crucial to surviving any combat, be it warfare, close quarters combat or a civilized duel.
 
Requirements:
Knife trainer, Rapier, Longsword or waster, gloves, jacket and mask. Gorget would be beneficial, but not required.

Some weapons may be available.
