The Military Truncheon: From Hutton to Styers
and Beyond
INSTRUCTORS: Maestro James Loriega
DESCRIPTION:
The bludgeon is acknowledged to be Man’s oldest weapon and significantly, although modern-day armies have a vast array of weapons of mass destruction at its disposal, their modern military men (and women) continue to be taught the use of the humble stick during basic training.  The stick is the quintessential field-expedient weapon and its ubiquitousness warrants that everyone be acquainted with its basic but formidable use.
